~ Peace be Upon the Prophet ~
The greatest cause of thankfulness to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala is that he has made us from the Ummah of the most beloved creation of His, the man sent as a Rahmah, or Mercy, to the entire universe. Because of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, we now know our Creator and the sweetness of Faith that results from our connection to Him. He provided the perfect example in every possible aspect of life: he is the Pious Worshipper, the Loving Father, the Caring Husband, the Carrier of Peace, the Spiritual Leader and Diplomat, the Women and Children Rights Activist, the Economic and Political Genius, and the Environmentalist. The list goes on and on, for in any trait which Allah loves, our Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, exhibited it to the most exalted degree so as to set the most perfect example for the rest of the children of Adam to follow.
It is therefore an obligation upon every Muslim to become deeply acquainted with this Honorable Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and to study his noble character and exalted attributes. In doing so, we comply with three of Allah’s commands which are to:
1. Believe in his Messenger
2. Follow his Messenger
3. Love his Messenger

~ Believe in the Messenger of Allah Subhanahu wa Tala ~
Firstly, Allah commanded us to believe in the noble Messenger (peace be upon him) in the Quran by saying: “Believe in Allah, and His Messenger, and the Light We have sent down; Allah is Aware of that which you do” (Quran 64:8). The Shahada, or Kalima, with simply “I bear witness that there is no God but Allah” would not be complete without “and Mohammed is his Messenger,” peace and blessings be upon him. In Suratul Nisa, Allah also tells us “O you who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger.” But what exactly does this “belief” mean? It consists of knowing and studying:
• the perfection of his character
• the exalted manners Allah taught him
• the finality of his message as the Seal of the Prophets
• his status as the Master of the Children of Adam
• his Divine Protection from committing sin
• the message which he relayed to us complete and whole
• his position as a Mercy to Mankind
